Can you give friends and family suggestions for what gifts you would like to receive as wedding gifts?

Is it ok to ask for money instead of gifts?

If you want cash. I'd suggest keeping your registry short. This way they will run out of options and giveyou cash!

There are cash gift registry sites out there that you can use. Couples that I found are http://www.myregistry.com & http://www.aperfectweddinggift.com. I have not try them before so cannot comment. Maybe you can try and let me know if it works out. I like to get cash as well

I think if you already have a home and have the things that would normally go on a list then ask for money but give people an alternative as well.

It is better idea to give suggestion regarding gifts, otherwise you will receive lots of items that are of no use to you, or similar kind of gifts from most of the guest.

A wedding gifts should be not a money 'coz you can get money whenever you want. The best thing to do is to have a personalized gifts like crochet or anything that really came from you. There are lots of wedding gifts in the store but it's good to know that a gifts is personally made by you. I'm sure the person who will receive that will really appreciate it.
